One man charged with arson in connection to Hillbilly Tavern fire


One man is behind bars Monday in connection to the Hillbilly Tavern Fire in Raleigh County.  State Fire Marshals arrested Charles Quarles, 30, of Dry Creek.

He's charged with six counts of first degree arson and one count of second degree arson.  State Fire Marshals said the six counts come from the apartment units above the bar that caught fire back on Sept. 7
Quarles is also being charged with burning insured property, conspiracy, burglary and burning wild lands.
