SOUTH CHARLESTON, WV -

Two new staff members have joined the pilot plant team at Mid-Atlantic Technology, Research & Innovation Center: Michael Nehme and Rob Nunley.

Nehme is a senior laboratory technologist with extensive experience in chemical research, development and manufacturing. He has several professional distinctions, including previous recognition as "Technologist of the Year" for Dow Chemical. Nehme has been named as co-inventor on five patents. He holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from West Virginia State University.

Nunley brings more than 20 years of experience in project management, process engineering, process improvement and manufacturing to the team.

MATRIC officials say he will provide leadership for pilot plant design, construction and operations. Nunley holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Rochester and a master's degree in engineering science from Marshall University.
