Marijuana worth more than a million dollars found in Wyoming County

PINEVILLE -

The Wyoming County Sheriff's Department made a major marijuana find in the Coal Mountain area.

Sheriff Randall Aliff said that 450 marijuana plants were found by deputies with his department.  The street value of the plants, according to Aliff, is $1,325,000.  Investigators found the pot plants after receiving a tip from the community. Lieutenants Jimmy White and Chris Bailey were assisted in the investigation by State Troopers and Rangers with the Division of Natural Resources.
