    Arrest made in Summers County robberies

    Two homes and two businesses in Summers county were taken by surprise early Sunday morning.
    Two homes and two businesses in Summers county were taken by surprise early Sunday morning.

The Rainelle Police Department teamed up with Greenbrier County Sheriff's Deputies to make a pair of arrests in a string of vehicle break-ins.

Jimmy Rush, 18, and Garry Martin, 23, were arrested in Rainelle on Wednesday night.  They are accused of breaking into vehicles.  The investigation began after law enforcement officer receive several complaints from the community.

According to Rainelle Police Chief J.P. Stevens, Rush and Martin have been charged with "numerous" counts of breaking into automobiles.  They also face charges of Petit Larceny and Conspiracy.

The two men are being held in the Southern Regional Jail.  They were scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday morning.
