UPDATE: Oct. 13, 2013 9:09 p.m.: The WV State Police have released the names of the two drivers killed in Saturday night's head-on collision on MacCorkle Ave. in Marmet.
Cody Perdue, 17, and Mason Roush, 18, died on the scene.
Kirsten Young, 17, was injured, but suffered non-life threatening injuries.
All of whom attended or graduated from Riverside High School.
A vigil will take place at dusk, which is expected to be about 7:00 p.m., Monday at Riverside High School in remembrance of the victims.
UPDATE: Oct. 13, 2013 3:08 a.m.: The West Virginia State Police is investigating a head-on collision on MacCorkle Avenue Southeast near Turnpike Ford at 9:53 p.m. Saturday.
State Troopers tell 13News a Ford F-150 traveling southbound on W.V. Route 61 struck a Chevy S-10 traveling northbound, after attempting to pass a vehicle.
Two male drivers, both between the ages of 16 and 18 years-old, were dead on arrival. A female passenger sustained non-life threatening injuries. The female passenger remains at Charleston Area Medical Center.
"It seems to be on the rise of younger people," said WV State Trooper Aaron Wilson. It's inexperienced drivers, not paying attention and not being careful. The roadways are dangerous. We're on the road a lot and you've just got to be careful when you're out on the roads."
The crash remains under investigation. State Police do not believe alcohol played a factor in Saturday night's crash.
The name of the victims are not being released at this time, pending family notification.

ORIGINAL STORY: Crews are on the scene of a two vehicle accident that resulted in two fatalities in Marmet, WV.
According to dispatchers, it happened in the area of 7891 MacCorkle Avenue Southeast near Turnpike Ford at 9:53 p.m. Saturday.
Dispatchers say one of the vehicles was reported to be on it's top with entrapment.
Two people have been confirmed dead, while one other person was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Both east and westbound lanes are shut down at this time.
Police are on the scene investigating.
