West Virginia stereotypes take center stage at a local arts center.

The Gary Bowling House of Art is now the Hillbilly House of Horrors.

Scenes from various aspects of West Virginia are depicted in the haunted house. It's at the Bluefield Area Arts Center on Bland Street in Bluefield. Participants are invited out for a night of terror, horror and breath-taking events.

"People are loving it because it's our culture, hillbilly horror, like a wrong turn movie. It's got a lot of whimsy to it. There's no touching, no spitting. It's just fun," Bowling told us.

This is the third year for the haunted house. The cost to get in is just $5.
