HINTON -
Hinton Police are asking for help from the community to find the person who broke into a car wash and stole change.

It happened on Oct. 15 at around 4 a.m. The man broke into the vacuum cleaners at the Riverwash Car Wash on Stokes Drive. According to Chief Derek Snavely, the man damaged the vacuums and was able to get away with a small amount of change.  The man then went to the Go-Mart across the street from the car wash. 

The man was driving a U-Haul van at the time.  Anyone with information about the break-in or who can identify the man in the surveillance pictures is asked to call the Hinton Police Department at 304-466-4657.  Tips can also be called in to the non-emergency 911 number at 304-466-3333, or email the info to tips@hintonpolice.org.
