OAK HILL -

The West Virginia Division of Highways has announced that the ramp onto Oyler Avenue will be closed on Monday, Oct. 28.

People traveling North on U.S. Route 19 and wanting to get off onto Oyler Avenue will have to find an alternate way of getting to their destination.  The exit ramp from milepost 7.96 to 8.04 in Oak Hill will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The closure is to accommodate work on power lines in the area by Appalachian Power crews.

WVDOH District Nine Construction Engineer, Greg Hylton, said that drivers should watch for traffic control signs and use caution in the area.  Anyone traveling though that area on Monday should expect delays.  Bad weather and unforeseen circumstance could change the project schedule.
