Deputies are searching for who robbed an area convenience store with a gun.

This happened in MacAurthur, Raleigh County around 7:30 p.m. Saturday, according to dispatchers.

Dispatchers say a man went into the Go-Mart on Robert C. Byrd Drive and showed a pistol.  He got away with money, but luckily no one there was hurt.

The Raleigh County Sheriff's Department responded to the scene and had a dog try and locate the suspect, who deputies say took off on foot.  The dog followed the track, until the scent was lost, where it is believed the suspect got into a vehicle.

The suspect is described as a while male, wearing a green baseball cap, overalls, and a jacket.
