    For more than 10 years, College Summit West Virginia has been helping make higher education more attainable for 37,000 students who have participated in the program.

On Oct. 30-Nov. 1, Alderson Broaddus University will host the Dr. Robert V. Digman Distinguished Alumni Lecture Series during homecoming.

The lectures series will take place each day at noon in Crim Dining Room located in the Alderson Broaddus Campus Center. All three lectures are free and open to the public.

On Oct. 30, Valerie (Ash) Woodruff '66 will present a lecture entitled "Words Matter." Woodruff is retired and previously served as the secretary of education for the state of Delaware.

Thomas S. Heckman '70 will present "Money Matters" on Oct. 31.  Heckman works for Hare, Chase & Heckman, Incorporated located in Malvern, Pa.

On Nov. 1, Arnold D. Scott '64 will conclude the lecture series with "Ideas Matter." Scott is the chairman and CEO of Asset Link International, LLC in Stockbridge, Vt. 

The Dr. Robert V. Digman Distinguished Alumni Lecture Series honors Dr. Robert V. Digman for his outstanding service to Alderson Broaddus University. He has devoted his life to the institution, its students, and continues to support the growing campus. Dr. Digman is "honored and humbled" to be recognized in this way.
