UPDATE: Arrest Made in Armed Robbery

West Virginia State Police have arrested a man in connection with the robbery at Rasi's Tobacco and Liquor Store.

Jared Price is charged with armed robbery and petty larceny.

Trooper Workman with the State Police said the clerk who was held up last night saw Price walking down the street Thursday night while on break.

When police arrested Price, they found that he was living at the Patriot Hotel.

Price also has two active warrants out of Wyoming County for distribution of oxycodone.

West Virginia State Police and Raleigh County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a man who allegedly robbed Rasi's Tobacco and Liquor in Beaver.

The call came is just before 8 Wednesday evening.

The man allegedly came into the store, threatened employees with a knife, and demanded money.

Deputies said he got away with nearly a thousand dollars.

Trooper Workman with the State Police said that K-9 units are searching for the man.

He is described as a white male, 5 feet 5 inches tall, one-hundred forty pounds, with a scar on his face.

He is wearing light colored flannel, a white shirt and blue jeans.

State Police said surveillance video in the store has not been recording since October 21.

No injuries have been reported.
