Parades Honor Vets Across Southern W.Va.

People lined the streets of downtown Beckley, Monday morning, donning their red, white and blue, for the annual Veterans Day Parade.

This year's grand marshal, J.E. Tankersley, an air force veteran from World War II , led the way for various church groups, boy and girl scouts, school bands and veterans.

The theme this year was "Honor Our Flag and Country."

After the parade, the Wildwood House Museum opened until early in the afternoon so veterans could tour for free.
