More than two years after a man is found dead near the Mercer and Wyoming County border, West Virginia State Troopers have made an arrest in the case.

The body of James "Bo" Butler, 55, of Hinton was found over a hillside off of Crumpler Road in April 2011.  On Monday, Nov. 11, 2013 West Virginia State Troopers arrested Oscar Ross Combs, 44, on a First Degree Murder charge in connection with Butler's death.  Troopers said that recent information lead them to Combs.

Butler apparently left for work from his home in Hinton on April 4, 2011, but never arrived at his job in Pineville.  Butlers body was found two weeks later.  The search for Butler spanned Summers, Mercer and Wyoming Counties.

First Sgt. Michael Baylous said that the investigation is still open.  More charges could be pending in the case.  Combs is being held in the Southern Regional Jail.
