HUNTINGTON, WV -

Kristi K. Arrowood, an experienced development professional and fundraiser, has joined the Cabell Huntington Hospital Foundation as director of development.

Arrowood joins the foundation to manage fundraising efforts for the hospital, the Hoops Family Children's Hospital and the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Arrowood is a certified development professional with more than 16 years of experience. She is a Huntington native.

Most recently, Arrowood was a senior member of the Marshall University Foundation's major gifts team where she assisted in developing the university's annual reports, Bridge Campaign and Thunder Club. She also helped to coordinate the world premiere celebration of the 2006 Warner Bros. film "We Are … Marshall."

The 303-bed academic medical center, which opened in 1956, serves patients from more than 29 counties in West Virginia, eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio. The teaching hospital is affiliated with Marshall University schools of medicine and nursing.
