    State Troopers out of Princeton, WV confirmed that they are looking for Christopher Lee Tolliver, a registered sex offender. Tolliver was scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on Tuesday Aug. 19, 2014, but failed to show up.

    A fire late Thursday night leaves a family in McDowell County homeless. Everyone was able to get out of the home in Raysal safely, but a friend of the family, who saved their dog, told us it was a very close call.

The fire in downtown Marlinton has provoked an enormous outpouring of help from communities across southern West Virginia.

A release from the Raleigh County Sheriff's Office said that donations of clothing and other needed items has been overwhelming.  The citizens of Marlinton are now asking for material donations to stop until further notice.  This is so that the families can get organized in their new dwellings.

The families are requesting that people who want to donate money think about the local fire departments.  Some of those departments had equipment damaged while they were fighting the fire.
