Authorities are searching for who invaded a Raleigh County home on Saturday night.

Dispatchers say police officers in Mabscott and deputies with the Raleigh County Sheriff's Department were called to Mabscott to investigate around 6 p.m.

Mabscott Police say two men came to the front door of 204 Chestnut Street dressed as American Electric Power employees carrying a clip board.

When the home owner answered the door, that's when the home invasion took place.

There's no word on if anyone was hurt.

A canine unit was called to the scene to help search for a suspect.

Right now, the investigation is still open.

If you have any information, call the Mabscott Police Department.
