Update:

The Harrison County Sheriff's Department has released the names of the four people involved in the two vehicle collision on Sunday on Route 57 in Harrison County.

Harrison County Sheriff Albert Marano identified the two people that died in the crash as Locia N. Wiant, 16 of Mount Clare, and Elizabeth R. Brannon, 18 of Clarksburg.

Marano said that Wiant was a student at South Harrison High School.

He said Wiant was driving a Pontiac Grand Am heading west on Route 57 when she attempted to pass another car around a bend in a no passing zone.

She then lost control of the vehicle and slid into oncoming traffic in the east lane.

The Pontiac Grand Am was then t-boned by a car driven by Rodney Snider, 74 of Philippi.

Marano said that Snider and his passenger, Janice F. Campanaro, 73 of Philippi were both flown from the scene by Healthnet to Ruby Memorial Hospital.  Snider is in fair condition and Campanaro is in serious condition, according to a hospital official.

Harrison County BOE President Mike Queen said counselors will be on hand at South Harrison High School on Monday once students return to class. He encourages anyone who needs help sooner to contact the school's principal.
