LASHMEET -

The Mercer County Sheriff's Office announced on Tuesday that an investigation into a trio of break-ins lead to an arrest just hours later.

Bradley Gene Bradshaw of Lashmeet was arrested at 10 a.m. on Tuesday morning.  He is charged with three counts of Breaking and Entering, two counts of Grand Larceny, Receiving/Transferring Stolen Property and Being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

The investigation began just four hours earlier at 5:49 a.m. The break-ins happened at three businesses.  A gun and an undisclosed amount of money was stolen from the Star Restaurant.  There was $5,000 worth of electronics taken from Head Start.  The Lashmeet Freewill Baptist Church was also broken into.  Deputies said that property was destroyed at all the locations.

Investigators said that all of the stolen property was recovered and returned to the owners.  There could be more charges pending in the investigation.
