The Greenbrier is again offering discounted packages on select dates in January, February and March as a tribute to the resort's local clientele.

"We owe so much of our success to the people of this region that we wanted to bring back the Tribute Package as our way of saying ‘thank you,'" said Jim Justice, chairman and owner of The Greenbrier.

While Justice started the promotion in 2009 exclusively for residents of Virginia and West Virginia, this year's special does not require Virginia or West Virginia residency to book the package. Midweek rates start as low as $59, but Feb. 14-16 and March 10-13 are excluded.

The packages include use of the indoor pool and fitness center, movie screenings in the Greenbrier Theatre, afternoon tea, access to the ice skating rink, history tours and presentations and nightly entertainment in the Casino Club.

Reservations must be booked online, a deposit equal to the total amount of the stay is required at the time of booking and it is non-refundable nor transferable, a daily resort fee of $35 per room per night will be added and a two-night minimum stay is required, but the maximum stay is three nights.
