    A fire late Thursday night leaves a family in McDowell County homeless. Everyone was able to get out of the home in Raysal safely, but a friend of the family, who saved their dog, told us it was a very close call.

Emergency responders were on the scene of an accident that happened at the bottom of Harper Road in Beckley on Friday morning.

It happened at around 8:45 a.m.  Officers with the Beckley Police Department said that teenagers in a car ran a stop sign at the end of Ewart Ave.  Their car was hit in the side by a Ford F-150 which pushed the car into a power pole. 

Emergency crews said that four people were taken to the hospital.  There is no word on their identities or conditions at this time.  Police are looking for another person who ran from the scene. 

The road was closed down for about 30 minutes while crews worked to clean up the accident.  The incident is still under investigation.
