The search is over for a man federal authorities said took off his home confinement bracelet and mailed it to the federal courthouse in Bluefield.

Michael Cunningham of Camp Creek was arrested on Sunday night in Rutherford County, NC.  Cunningham was wanted for running from home confinement.  Officials were alerted to Cunningham's disappearance after his home confinement monitor bracelet showed up at the federal courthouse in Bluefield in September.

The package, which was mailed to Cunningham's probation officer, caused the courthouse to be shutdown.  Officials said that it was beeping and an x-ray showed that inside there was a device with wires.

Cunningham is set to be extradited back to West Virginia. The extradition is being handled by the U.S. Marshal's Service.
