Sources close to the victims' families tell WOWKTV.COM the two victims in Saturday evening's vehicle accident near the Paint Creek Road exit on Interstate 77 southbound remain at Charleston Area Medical Center.
Both victims are teenage females from the Beckley area.
The 19 year-old victim remains in critical care and the 17 year-old victim sustained non life-threatening injuries.
The names of the victims are not being released at this time.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the West Virginia State Police.

According to dispatchers with the West Virginia Parkways Authority, all lanes have been reopened.
A two vehicle accident in Standard, WV in Kanawha County has caused road closures.
According to dispatchers with the West Virginia Parkways Authority, it happened at 9:20 p.m. Saturday, January 4, in the area of the 74 mile marker of I-77 southbound at the Paint Creek Road exit.
Dispatchers say one of the vehicles reportedly rolled over on it's top. At least one person was ejected from one of the vehicles. Dispatchers say the victim, along with another victim, were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Due to the accident, both the fast and slow lanes of I-77 southbound are shut down.
Dispatchers say traffic is being diverted from the Paint Creek Road exit ramp to the on-ramp back onto I-77 southbound.
The West Virginia State Police is investigating.
