ORIGINAL STORY:

Troopers with the West Virginia State Police are looking for a 13-year-old girl who disappeared from the Oak Hill area on Saturday night.  Now they are asking for help from the community to find her.

Gabriela "Gabby" Messer was last seen near her home on Summerlee Road.  That was at around 6:15 p.m. on Saturday. Gabby is 5-feet 4-inches tall and 135 pounds.  She has brown eyes and blonde hair. She also wears glasses.

State Police searched the area where Gabby was last seen with a K-9 unit.  They said that she may have gotten into a vehicle, but there is no description of the car available.  Right now this is not an Amber Alert, but Troopers said that as more information becomes available an alert may be issued.

Anyone with information on Gabby's location is asked to contact their local West Virginia State Police detachment.
