WHEELING -

A Ritchie Elementary counselor has been accused of attempting to sell Oxycodone pills.

In a federal complaint, a DEA agent testified that an informant contacted Kristyn Fetcko to purchase Oxycodone pills at her Webster Avenue home in Wheeling. According to the report, the informant had previously bought pills from Fetcko in January of this year.

The report states that when the informant arrived at the residence and made the request for the pills, the informant asked, "10 of them's $350, right?" Fetcko allegedly replied, "Yeah," while shaking her head in an affirmative manner. When the informant said, "Are you sure?" Fetcko allegedly responded "100 percent."

The report then states Fetcko's companion retrieved the pills and gave them to the informant for $350.

Fetcko appeared in court on Tuesday where she was released on a personal recognizance bond. She will next appear in court on Feb. 10 for a preliminary hearing.

Ohio County Schools Superintendent Dianna Vargo has confirmed that Fetcko is an employee of the school district.
