MORGANTOWN, WV -

The "Great White Way" of Broadway leads to Morgantown this month as the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and guest vocalists Christiane Noll and Doug LaBrecque bring "The Best of Broadway" to West Virginia University at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 28 in the Lyell B. Clay Concert Theatre at the WVU Creative Arts Center.

This tribute to some of Broadway's most celebrated shows and songs will include pieces from hit musicals like "My Fair Lady," "Phantom of the Opera," "Show Boat," "Cabaret" and "Wicked." Led by Resident Conductor Lawrence Loh, the Pittsburgh Symphony will perform the best of Broadway with the help of some of Broadway's best.

A pre-concert talk with Jim Cunningham will begin at 6:30 p.m. and is free to ticket holders. Tickets are $27 and $45, and can be purchased by calling the Heinz Hall box office at 412-392-4900, or by visiting www.pittsburghsymphony.org/wvu. Tickets also may be purchased the evening of the performance, beginning at 5:30 p.m., in the Creative Arts Center main lobby.
