    Beckley Police have identified a suspect wanted for an armed robbery at a pharmacy.Police say Jonathan Moore robbed the CVS on Ragland Road in Beckley this past Sunday.Moore is facing aggravated robbery, kidnapping, and conspiracy to commit a felony charges.Police say the man was armed with a knife.Moore allegedly grabbed an employee and demanded drugs.Police identified Moore through tips from Crimestoppers.If you have any information on his whereabouts you are asked to call Beckley Police.

    Police in Rainelle say people in the area need to look out for copper thefts.Police are getting several reports of copper being stolen from residents and local businesses.The thief or thieves tried to steal copper from other placeslike the municipal buildingbut was unsuccessful.Police also want residents to make sure they're locking their car doors.Calls have come in from people saying their cars were broken into.If you have any information about the copper or car thefts call police.

West Virginia State University students interested in becoming clinical psychologists are encouraged to attend a portion of a day-long West Virginia Board of Examiners of Psychologists executive board meeting Feb. 7, 2014.

This is the first time that the Board of Examiners of Psychologists will meet on the WVSU campus in Institute.

The WVSU Office of Continuing Education is sponsoring the quarterly meeting from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in room 315 of the Cole Complex. An information session will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in room 312 of Cole Complex for all WVSU students interested in becoming clinical psychologists.

Meetings of the Board of Examiners of Psychologists are open to the public unless specified for conducting oral examinations. Closed sessions may occur during meetings to conduct oral examinations or to review ethical concerns.
