UPDATE: Arrest made in Western Greenbrier bomb threat investigation

State Police have cleared the scene of a bomb threat at Western Greenbrier Middle School.  The school was evacuated on Tuesday, Feb. 11 and all after school activities were canceled. 

No explosives were found during a search by state troopers that included bomb-sniffing dogs.  Teachers and students were taken to Greenbrier West while the search was conducted.  Classes at Western Greenbrier Middle School were held as normal on Wednesday.

A juvenile was arrested in the case.  While the exact charge has not been released, the student could be charged with Terroristic Threats.  Investigators said the threat came in the form of a note that was left at the school.

Law enforcement officers in Greenbrier County are investigating a bomb threat on Tuesday, Feb. 11. 

Details are limited, but officials did say that students at Western Greenbrier Middle School were evacuated from the school.  The West Virginia State Police and the Greenbrier County Sheriff's Office are investigating.  No other details have been released at this time.
