MULLENS -

The Mullens Police Department is investigating a case of shots being fired on Tuesday, Feb. 11.

Police officers were sent to Early St. at around 7:30 a.m. where that found two men who had apparently been in a physical fight.  One of the men had a gun.  Investigators said there was also a woman in at the scene who was involved in the incident.

One of the men was taking to a Beckley hospital for treatment.  There is no word on what started the fight or if anyone had been injured by gunfire.  The incident is still under investigation and an arrest is pending in the case.
