Raleigh County WV -

On Sunday, the YMCA offered a sweetheart open house, meaning anybody could come in between 1 and 5pm to exercise, take classes and tour the facility. The open house was held in honor of American Heart Association Month.

YMCA Marketing Director said this is a great opportunity for those who may not be able to work out during the week.

"This is a great opportunity for members and non members to experience everything the Y has to offer. A lot of time members may not be able to try different classes because of their schedule and at an event like this they can try out different classes."

They plan on holding a few more open houses this year to try to get more people to take advantage of what the YMCA has to offer to maintain heart health.
