    State Troopers out of Princeton, WV confirmed that they are looking for Christopher Lee Tolliver, a registered sex offender. Tolliver was scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on Tuesday Aug. 19, 2014, but failed to show up.

    A fire late Thursday night leaves a family in McDowell County homeless. Everyone was able to get out of the home in Raysal safely, but a friend of the family, who saved their dog, told us it was a very close call.

The City of Bluefield is now offering online payment options for quarterly fees. Only quarterly bills may be paid at this time. Building permits, B&O Tax payments, and other specialty fees must be paid at the City Municipal Building. For additional assistance, citizens and businesses may contact Accounting Clerk Peggy Ball at 304-327-2442.

"Our goal is increase the access to the city for the local community," said IT Director Billy Hester.
