    State Troopers out of Princeton, WV confirmed that they are looking for Christopher Lee Tolliver, a registered sex offender. Tolliver was scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on Tuesday Aug. 19, 2014, but failed to show up.

    A fire late Thursday night leaves a family in McDowell County homeless. Everyone was able to get out of the home in Raysal safely, but a friend of the family, who saved their dog, told us it was a very close call.

Beckley Police are searching for a person who may have attacked and robbed a woman on Saturday night.

Officers were called to the Willbrian Apartments on Ewart Ave. in Beckley at around 11 p.m. on Saturday. A woman reported that a man got out of his truck, shoved her,  stole some cash then got back in his truck and drove off.  The man was driving a blue extended cab Dodge truck. 

Police are investigating the incident.  They do have a person of interest in the case and are attempting to contact that person.  Anyone who has any information on the investigation is asked to contact the Beckley Police Department at 304-256-1720 or CrimeStoppers at 304-255-STOP.
