    State Troopers out of Princeton, WV confirmed that they are looking for Christopher Lee Tolliver, a registered sex offender. Tolliver was scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on Tuesday Aug. 19, 2014, but failed to show up.

    A fire late Thursday night leaves a family in McDowell County homeless. Everyone was able to get out of the home in Raysal safely, but a friend of the family, who saved their dog, told us it was a very close call.

Raleigh County firefighters were busy overnight, Tuesday into Wednesday morning.

They were called to the scene of two different fires, one in Bradley and the other in Beckley.

Dispatchers received the call just after 1 a.m. Wednesday morning for the first one. It was on Maple Fork Road in Bradley. 

The fire started in a field and then spread to a structure. Bradley Fire Department and Pax Fire Department both responded to the scene.

The second fire was on Mason Street in Beckley.

Dispatchers received the call for this fire just after 2 a.m. 

The Beckley Fire Department responded to the scene, and found a motor of a furnace caught fire.  The fire did not spread, and crews cleared the scene shortly after.
