    The National Park Foundation awarded $504,000 in grants to 28 national parks across the United States and the Virgin Islands, including one in West Virginia, through its Park Stewards Program.

The Punch Brothers will take the Clay Center stage Sunday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m. 

The group is known for its sounds of progressive bluegrass with an exciting, wildly original set full of tight harmonies, rapid-fire picking and foot-stomping beats. 

As virtuosic as it is freewheeling, this impressive five-piece acoustic group featuring former Nickel Creek front man Chris Thile is an interesting mix of traditional unplugged style with a new, experimental sound. 

The band's latest album, "Who's Feeling Young Now?" contains some of the most exhilaratingly 
direct, sonically daring performances it has ever recorded. Vanity Fair has hailed the album as 
"their most expressive work yet as an ensemble -- sophisticated, pop-y, kinetic and profound, all at once." 

This performance is part of the Clay Center Presents spring 2014 performance season, sponsored by Huntington Bank and Frost Brown Todd LLC.
