BEAVER, W.Va -

Today, a church in Raleigh County dedicated their whole Sunday service to coal miners.

With so many West Virginia families depending heavily on coal, the people of Beaver say that church services like this are a good way to remember those who lost their lives.

Larry Helmondollar, has been in the coal business for over 40 years.

"Coal miners everywhere, this is a coal town and this town depends and coal and a lot of families are involved. So, we need coal in this country, he said.

The Fountains of liberty church of god wants current and past coal miner's memories to never be forgotten and they say that the amount of miners that showed up to service today proves that will never happen.
