Google innovator Elliot Nix will serve as the keynote speaker at this year's INTEGRATE 2014.

The even will be hosted by the West Virginia University P. I. Reed School of Journalism's online Integrated Marketing Communications graduate program. Scheduled for May 30-31, INTEGRATE 2014 will offer attendees the chance explore the latest IMC techniques and strategies with IMC professionals and engage in thought-provoking discussions about industry trends.

Nix, Google's Head of Media Solutions–Tech, will discuss the marketing strategies that span mobile, video, display, search and social platforms on Saturday May 31, during the conference keynote dinner at the Milan Pulsar Stadium's Touchdown Terrace.

Nix began his career at Google in 2009 and helped grow Google Mobile into a billion dollar business that is now the largest mobile search, display and video network in the world. He has more than 10 years in media and advertising experience at NBC, OMD and Google and has worked on blue chip clients like Bank of America and PlayStation.

Nix's address will come at the end of the IMC graduate program's fourth annual Integrated Marketing Communications conference. The two-day conference will be held on WVU's downtown campus.

Additional featured speakers and presenters at this year's conference include David Chignon, managing director of integrated marketing communications for NASCAR; Gin Dietrich, CEO at Garment Dietrich, co-author of "Marketing in the Round" and author of new book "Spin Sucks"; Pam Diner, global integrated marketing strategist for Intel; Ellen Valentine, brand evangelist for Silver pop; and many of the WVU IMC program's expert faculty members from across the United States.

On Friday May 30, attendees will participate in breakout sessions including "There is No Top 10 List for Social Media Marketing" and "Making the Case for the "Business" of Environmental Marketing." Participants also will have the opportunity to attend a professional networking reception on Friday evening.

Throughout the day on Saturday May 31, conference attendees will choose from breakout sessions including "How to Change Consumer Behavior with a Nudge and Persuasion Science," "Failing Forward: The Value of Trial and Error in IMC Startups" and "Integrated Video and How It Can Innovate Your IMC Efforts."

"We couldn't be more excited for this year's INTEGRATE conference," said Chad Ezra, Director of Online Programs for the P. I. Reed School of Journalism. "We have an impressive lineup of speakers and we are looking forward to this being our best conference yet."

The conference and keynote dinner are open to registered conference attendees only. Details on how to register and more information about the INTEGRATE 2014 conference are available at http://imc.wvu.edu/integrate. For details about the IMC program, visit www.imc.wvu.edu.
