"Bring It On: The Musical" will be on stage at 7:30 p.m. April 21 at the Clay Center in Charleston.

Due to tour routing conflicts, the performance was originally scheduled for May 5 was moved to April 21. Tickets purchased for the original date will be honored at the door.

The show was inspired by the "Bring It On" film. The musical takes the audience on a high-flying journey filled with the complexities of friendship, jealousy, betrayal and forgiveness. It tells the story of the challenges and unexpected bonds formed through the thrill of extreme competition.

The musical comedy made its Broadway debut in 2012. The production earned Tony nominations for Best Musical and Best Choreography.
