FAYETTE COUNTY -
In Fayette County, part of a road has eroded.

A section of Route 31 in Beelick Knob has two large holes forming on both sides of the road. A city official with Meadow Bridge said the city is unable to fix the road because it is not within city limits. The mayor of Meadow Bridge had no comment.

"Somebody is going to wreck and probably get killed, or seriously hurt," said Larry Cox, a resident living near the area.

The Division of Highways said they patched up the areas in April, and they are planning to replace a failed pipe. After the pipe line is replaced, they will be able to re-pave the areas.
