HINTON -
Summers County High School's greenhouse and horticulture classes worked over two months to plant more than 50 types of plants, flowers and trees for the Summers County High School Greenhouse. The plants include perennials, fruit trees, heirloom tomatoes and more. The greenhouse will be open to the public May 2-May 23 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Friday.

"The students treat this as their own business. They take pride in it, and they're really dedicated to seeing it be successful," said Kathy Duffield, Agriculture Science teacher at Summers County High School.

The greenhouse is located behind Summers County High School in Hinton. All proceeds will go towards planting and maintaining next year's greenhouse.
