    Deputies with the Wyoming County Sheriff's Department captured a pair of men accused of breaking into a home. Cody Mills and Jeremy Cable, both 31-years-old, were arrested on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014. The men are accused of Daytime Burglary.

HINTON - The West Virginia State Police announced that troopers will be checking for people who are driving under the influence on Friday, May 2.

The sobriety checkpoint will be set up on WV Route 20 near Hinton, WV.  Troopers will be on hand from 8 p.m. on Friday to 2 a.m. on Saturday, May 3.  According to a release from the West Virginia State Police the checkpoint to set up to "detect and deter impaired drivers." 

A secondary goal for the checkpoint to to educate residents of the area about the dangers of getting behind the wheel of a vehicle when a person is under the influence of drugs or alcohol or both.  Troopers are also asking for assistance from the public to report drunk drivers.
