    The West Virginia Wilderness group has been fighting three gas companies for months, who want to put a pipeline in Pocahontas County .Lauren Ragland is the founder of West Virginia Wilderness and said the pipeline does not belong in Pocahontas County.

NICHOLAS COUNTY -
Police found an escaped inmate on Sunday in southern West Virginia.

West Virginia State Police confirmed that thirty year old Rodney Hypes of Craigsville, WV went missing from the Pruntytown Correctional Center Saturday evening. Troopers said that after a tip was called in Hypes was caught on Sunday in the Cottle area of Nicholas County. Police said he was hiding behind fallen trees before they captured him.

Troopers also said a Grafton woman was arrested after assisting in his escape. Jessie Shipley is charged with aiding and abetting in Hypes' escape. 
She is being held in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail. 

Hypes in custody and will be turned over to the department of corrections. He is convicted of grand larceny and burglary in Nicholas County.
