    In Raleigh County, a woman is miraculously not seriously injured, after her car rolls over on I-77 around 6:30 Wednesday night.An eyewitness tells us the woman was driving in the left lane on the northbound side. She suddenly veered off the road, over corrected,then slammed into the side of a tractor trailer. The car rolled multiple times before coming to a stop on it's roof.The witness says two small dogs ran out of the car. Moments later, the woman crawled out and ran after one of the dogs....

GREENBRIER COUNTY -
West Virginia State Police arrested Jeffrey E. Lewis of Renick on Friday, May 16, 2014 after Greenbrier County Magistrate Court issued a warrant for his arrest following a criminal complaint.

Lewis is a Certified Public Accountant. He's charged with one count of felony offense of financial exploitation of and elderly person and one count of the felony offense of embezzlement by a fiduciary.

According to State Police, the crimes happened during a time in which Lewis was acting as a trustee of a trust created for John K. Dawkins, a resident of Greenbrier County. In total, Lewis is alleged to have embezzled or otherwise misappropriated more than $800,000 from Dawkins.

"The criminal complaint represents allegations only, and Mr. Lewis is presumed innocent of any criminal acts until otherwise proven guilty.  The investigation into these matters is ongoing, although the investigation to this point compelled than an arrest warrant be sought at this time," stated Greenbrier County Prosecuting Attorney, Patrick Via.  "Due to the ongoing nature of this investigation, the State will not address any alleged facts and circumstances of the case beyond those set forth in the criminal complaint at this time."

Lewis taken before a Greenbrier County Magistrate upon his arrest and his bond was set at $75,000. He posted bond and was released. Sgt. W. A. Pendleton of the West Virginia State Police is leading the investigation.
