    State Troopers out of Princeton, WV confirmed that they are looking for Christopher Lee Tolliver, a registered sex offender. Tolliver was scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on Tuesday Aug. 19, 2014, but failed to show up.

    A fire late Thursday night leaves a family in McDowell County homeless. Everyone was able to get out of the home in Raysal safely, but a friend of the family, who saved their dog, told us it was a very close call.

A drug investigation out of Mercer County leads police to a motel not far from their station in Princeton.

On Friday, June 6, officers with the Princeton Police Department arrested four people at the Airway Motel.  Police found drugs packaged for sale as well as $28,656 in cash. Investigators said that the drugs had a street value of around $44,680.  The drugs included 319 Hydromorphone pills, 766 Oxycodone pills, 356 Methadone pills and 67.9 grams of Cocaine.

Steven Short of Bluefield, WV along with Chad Barrett and Troy Coy, both of Princeton were arrested on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver.  Ashley Hill was also arrested.  She faces a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance.  All four were arraigned and released on bond.  The investigation is still open.
