Nestled away in the small community of Crab Orchard lies a larger than life vineyard.

Since the first vines were planted back in 1990 by Dr. Richard Daniel, Daniel Vineyards now grows, bottles and sells thousands of bottles a year.
Four venues are available year round for events such as weddings, anniversaries, birthday parties, reunions and more..

The Vineyard is on about 192 acres of land. Twenty of those acres are grapes and about 3 acres of blueberries. Employees say that even though it's so big, Daniel Vineyards is like a well kept secret.
"A lot of people come from out of town on the interstate and just want to come see what a West Virginia winery is like," Chad Fox said.
Daniel Vineyards is is inviting everyone to their Spring Wine festival this Saturday the 21st. Wineries from all over the state will be there for people to buy and sample their wines.
