ALOHA, a pioneer in mind math programs, is happy to announce that there will be two new education centers in California, one in the Bay area and another one in Southern California.
(PRWEB) July 01, 2014
The ALOHA center in Bay area will be located at Sunnyvale and is being headed by Sheetal & Yash Veera. Coming from a teaching background, Sheetal and Yash have always been on the lookout to make a strong impact in their community to shape every childs future. According to us, teaching is just an extension of art by rightfully playing chords to connect mind and heart," says Sheetal. ALOHA was introduced to us, when my sister was looking for a program that teaches Math in a unique, fun way. Once we came to know about ALOHA, it ignited our interest to learn more and we found it as nothing less than a perfect way of tutoring young children in Math and to strive in this challenging world. Teaching is not just excelling in your subject but is something that should impart a seed which when sprouted can help them face constant challenges in their future," she adds further as they are gearing up to set up the Sunnyvale center soon. Adding to their current So Cal locations, ALOHA will operate their newest center in Anaheim. The owner, Leela Nandigam, is excited and looking forward to the opening of her new center. In her own words, As a mother of two young children, I have been looking at various programs to enrich their mind and keep them challenged, especially in math, reading and writing. That is how I stumbled upon ALOHA. As I learned more about the programs, I decided this would be the best opportunity for me to take it to my children and extend this unique opportunity to the children in my community. Though I had my career in software, teaching was my passion and I now strongly believe that ALOHA would be the best platform to put my passion to work and help me serve my community. Anaheim ALOHA is expected to begin operations in Aug 2014; please visit http://www.alohamindmath.com to know more.
Pioneering a unique mind math program called ALOHA Mind Math, ALOHA stands for Abacus Learning of Higher Arithmetic. It is designed for children age 5-12 years old. An Abacus is an ancient calculator tool used by sliding beads to count. If it sounds too simple to work, people might be surprised to learn that these instructor-led, small-class-size, math tutoring sessions teach children to solve complex arithmetic questions [think: (128+432-46+514)/82] in their heads more quickly than most people can on a standard calculator. It also helps overcome the fear of arithmetic.
ALOHAs teaching style is not the repetitive or rote-learning approach to teaching kids math. The method focuses on a kinesthetic way of learning that promotes development in both the left and right lobes of the brain and improves focus giving kids a head start in all academics. ALOHA USA uses teacher-led classes in a small group classroom with an interactive style, not just worksheets or online tutoring.
ALOHAs Reading | Writing program offers language arts, reading and writing supplemental education for children in grades one through five. The goal of the teacher-led Reading & Writing program is to inspire children to read and write without difficulty. The structured program motivates and stimulates young minds, and develops a passion for reading and writing.
