BECKLEY -

Raymond Stoumile was sentenced to 9 to 25 years in a Raleigh County courtroom Thursday morning for crimes leading back to 2011.

Stoumile was arrested after opening fire in a crowded Mabscott club.

During trial back in June he was found not guilty of attempted murder, but he was found guilty by a jury of two counts of malicious assault, four counts of wanton endangerment with a fire arm, and one count of possession of a firearm from a prohibited carrier.

The 9 to 25 years ordered Thursday are a net total of all time for the seven charges.

Stoumile went before Judge Kirkpatrick and apologized for his actions saying he hopes to one day have a relationship with his daughter.

Stoumile is currently serving a 15 year sentence for possession of a firearm and wanton endangerment for an unrelated crime from back in 2012. He was ordered to serve the two terms concurrently.
