Third person pleads guilty in three year old murder case

PRINCETON -

 More than three years after a body was found in Princeton, WV - one of the men involved in the murder admits his guilt in a Mercer County courtroom.  Chad Hylton was seen before Judge William Sadler on Monday, July 14, 2014.

Hylton pleaded guilty to charges of First Degree Murder and Assault During the Commission of a Felony.  The charges stem from the murder of Timothy Dewitt of Princeton.  Dewitt's body was found near the Bluestone Bridge on March 13, 2011. Two other people have already been sentenced in the case.  Those people were Tammy Keen and Thomas Hall.

As a part of the plea agreement, Hylton is expected to be sentenced to life with mercy on the murder charge.  He is also expected to get two years in prison on the assault charge.  That will be determined during a sentencing hearing that will be held on Sept. 8, 2014.
