 Troopers with the West Virginia State Police made an arrest after finding a meth lab on the border of Fayette and Greenbrier Counties.

Officials with the State Police detachment in Rainelle have confirmed that there was a meth lab bust on Monday, July 28, 2014.  The lab was at a home that was across the street from Meadow Bridge Elementary School.  Caleb Amick and Ronnie Gibson, both of Meadow Bridge, were arrested in connection with the investigation.

 Investigators said that they found ingredients for make meth in plastic bags.  They also found two burn pits behind the house that Troopers believe were being used to get rid of the waste products from making the meth.

 Gibson and Amick are charged with Attempting to Operate a Clandestine Drug Lab an Conspiracy to Commit a Felony.  Troopers said they could also face a charge of Attempting to Operate a Clandestine Drug Lab within 1,000 feet of a School. Gibson is being held in the Southern Regional Jail on a $35,000 bond.  Amick was released on bond.
