UPDATE: 7 charged in fatal Giles County shooting

GILES COUNTY, Va. (WFXR)  NARROWS, Va. -

UPDATE: Seven people have been charged in connection to a shooting in Giles County.  

The Sheriff's Department was called at 1 a.m. on January 3 about two men who had been shot.  

The men had been taken to the Bank of Peterstown in Narrows.  

20-year-old Dakota Bailey was pronounced dead at the scene and David Cecil was airlifted to the hospital.  

Deputies executed a search warrant at the scene of the shooting on Stockpen Mountain Road. 

That investigation, plus witness interviews led to the arrests of Tyler Foster (not pictured), Darren Cecil and Blade Powers for breaking and entering and attempted armed robbery.  

Megan Shaver and Lindsey Robertson were also arrested for conspiracy to commit breaking and entering and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. 

Anthony Gautier was also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.  He lived at the home on Stockpen Mountain Road.  

The only suspect who has not been arrested at this time is David Cecil who is still in the hospital with serious injuries.
