A man has been arrested for his alleged involvement in a shooting that happened on Hager Street in Beckley.
Talbert Pannell Junior was arrested by The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.
Pannell is being charged with wanton endangerment, malicious assault, destruction of property, and possession of a deadly weapon by a convicted felon.  He is currently being held in Southern Regional Jail on a $500,000 dollars bond.

Pannell’s charges stem from a shooting that happened on April 16, 2015.

Officers believe Pannell was on a blue four wheeler, when he fired eight gun shots, injuring one man. The victim was shot in his right shoulder.

Police are still investigating the cause of the shooting, but detectives do not believe this was a random act of violence.
