Arrest Made in Raleigh County Robbery Investigation


UPDATE: Authorities arrested a man in connection to an armed robbery investigation at a cafe in Raleigh County, according to deputies. Joshua Daniels, 21, was taken into custody for his alleged involvement in a robbery at Mama Lina’s in Harper Heights in mid-April. 

The arrest was made after a joint effort between the Raleigh and Fayette County Sheriff’s Departments. Daniels was taken to Southern Regional Jail with a $50,000 bond.

Mama Lina’s café on Harper road in Harper Heights was robbed early Saturday, April 18, 2015, according to dispatchers. 

Dispatchers said a woman armed with a pistol robbed the café and got away with an undisclosed amount of money. 

The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the robbery.
